📣 What the Reviewers Are Saying

“Reviews are praising Out There, Right Here for its artistry, emotional depth, and timeless message.”
Steve Sheppard, One World Music Radio
❝ Without a shadow of a doubt one of the best new age instrumental albums I have had the fortunate pleasure to listen to this year… I predict with certainty that Out There, Right Here has to be a huge chart hit for the artist, and is most definitely award worthy. ❞

Kathy Parsons, MainlyPiano.com
❝ A fascinating combination of piano and electronic elements. It’s a timely message expressed beautifully with both music and deep emotion. I think you’ll enjoy the ride! ❞

Vivek Kumar, New Music Alert - India
In his review, Vivek Kumar placed Shirley Cason’s work in the same modern classical/ambient lineage as Nils Frahm and Max Richter — two of the most influential composers in the genre today.
❝ Cason’s skilled composition welds intimate solo piano notes with ambient electronic textures to create uniquely refreshing music of expansive cinematic quality… I strongly recommend this album to music lovers who seek a composition that is quietly profound and emotionally generous. ❞

👉 🎤 Interview: Most Asked Questions to Shirley Cason
Q: What inspires your relaxing piano music?
A: I write songs based on personal moments that either moved me to tears or made me laugh. Life has both joy and sorrow, and I try to reflect that balance in my music. If it stirs my heart, I believe it can stir someone else's too.
Q: Do you sing on your albums?
A: Not yet—but who knows what the future holds! While I don't sing on my albums currently, I do write lyrics to many of my songs. Some of my listeners enjoy reading the lyrics even when the songs are purely instrumental.
Q: What makes your albums stand out in the relaxing music genre?
A: I blend piano and keyboards with soft orchestration, creating music that’s both emotional and peaceful. Each album tells a story, often mirroring moments from my own life, which I think helps listeners connect more deeply.
Q: What are some achievements you're proud of?
A: I’m proud to have received two Grammy® certificates in the New Age category for my albums Relax and Inner Peace. One of my most meaningful milestones is that my Relaxing Piano Music CD has remained on Amazon Music’s Top 100 New Age Instrumental chart for the past 3 years.
It was also a true honor when My Peaceful World was chosen by Deepak Chopra as his Spotify Artist Pick—an unexpected and deeply appreciated recognition.
Another special moment was arranging the keyboard accompaniment for Janis Ian’s song A Thousand Years. I took her original vocal and acoustic guitar performance and created a soft instrumental arrangement to enhance her heartfelt delivery. It was my personal tribute to a songwriter I’ve long admired.
Q: Where can people listen and support your music?
A: You can listen on Spotify, YouTube, Bandcamp, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
My official website shirleycason.com has everything—including free music downloads, licensing info, and my press page.
Q: What message do you hope to share through your music?
A: That music is a gentle companion through all seasons of life. Whether you're celebrating, grieving, daydreaming, or just breathing, I hope my music brings peace, comfort, and inspiration
