Your type of compositions is exactly what I am looking for. Music that calms the soul.

I bought a few of your CDs a while back, and listen to them as I work (I'm a writer and television producer in Massachusetts). I was recently at the International Women's Writing Guild summer conference at Skidmore, where in addition to spending more than a week with 500 extremely gifted, talented women, I produced a "rough draft" video slideshow of nearly 300 images I captured during the conference. I am in the process of "finishing" the video into a CD/DVD, complete with titling, credits, and of course, music.
I would like very much to use two of your songs from "Forever in Bloom" (Journey & Journey Onward) and two from "Summer Dream" (clips from both Springtime and A Summer Dream). These songs remind me of the spirit of the Guild, and how it felt to be in the company of those women. I need to know the process for getting your permission -- either through you, or your recording company. You will of course be fully credited and your musical copyright noted in the production credits, and on the cover materials.
I am creating this CD/DVD video slideshow with the intention of allowing the IWWG to sell it to the nearly 500 women who were at the conference, as well as to several thousand more members who weren't able to join us this year -- and every penny of the proceeds will go directly to the Guild's scholarship fun. Each year, Guild scholarships bring many women to a place where they can find their voices in safety, and with support. If you require payment for the permissions, I will be happy to accommodate -- alternately, you could consider setting a fair use price, and the Guild's Executive Director, Hannelore Hahn, will provide you with the necessary forms and signatures for a tax-deductible charitable contribution (the Guild is a non-profit organization). I really enjoyed the Christmas CD during the holidays. I am listening to Winter Morning
as I write this. I downloaded all the CD's for less than 4 dollars and all I can say
is what a bargain - although I do not believe I could put a price on your music - it
is priceless and timeless. I have played guitar for years and write songs from a
Christian point of view although it is not gospel music. More I would say it is an
expression of who I am. I began playing keyboard about 3 years ago and really enjoy it and
I seem to be more talented in this area. I would like to play music like you do ( using the
keyboard more and layering some sounds ). My keyboard is a Suzuki and I only have a few voices.
Is there a keyboard you would recommend that would have a good touch and also give me more sounds.
